The Black Canadian Experience Centre was not built in a boardroom. It was built in community, and the community continues to build it.

Our coalition is a growing network of Black-led organizations, cultural institutions, faith communities, educators, and civic partners who have answered a simple call: Black prairie histories deserve a permanent home, and we are not waiting for someone else to build it.

Coalition members stand with BCEC publicly. They carry this vision into their own networks, amplify the campaign within their communities, and help ensure that when the doors of this institution finally open, they open to a community that already knows it belongs inside.

We are actively expanding the coalition. If your organization believes that cultural infrastructure is civic infrastructure, that a community seen is a community strengthened, we want to hear from you.
